Title: Clinical observation of Mckenzie method in combination with electroacupuncture and traction therapy in Treating cervical spondylotic radiculopathy
Abstract: Objective To observe the effectiveness of Mckenzie method in combination with electroacupuncture and traction in treating cervical spondylotic radiculopathy(CSR).Methods A total of 96 cases of CSR patients were randomly average divided into treatment group,and control group.The treatment group were treated with Mckenzie method,assisted with electroacupuncture and traction treating,the control group were treated with electroacu Puncture and traction treating only.Measurements were done before and after the treatment,including pain visual analog scale(VAS),cervical range of motion in Mckenzie mechanical assessment form(ROM),and clinical efficacy evaluation after treatment.Results Both groups got a good therapeutic effect,and the relief of pain was in evidence after the treatment(P0.01),and the ROM was significantly improved after the treatment(P0.05).As well as the improvement index,treatment group was distinctly higher than that in the control group(P0.05).Conclusion Mckenzie method in combination with electroacupuncture and traction therapy could significantly improve the rehabilitation efficacy of CSR.
