Title: THE EFFECT OF ADRIAMYCIN INTERVENTIONAL THERAPY FOR PATIENTS WITH TRIGEMINAL NEURALGIA OF OPHTHALMIC BRANCH GUIDED BY X RAY AND NERVE STIMULATOR
Abstract: Objective: To investigate the clinical efficacy and safety of adriamycin interventional therapy for patients with trigeminal neuralgia of ophthalmic branch guided by X ray and nerve stimulator. Methods: 0.5% adriamycin 0.5ml was injected via foramen ovale for 48 patients with in trigeminal neuralgia of ophthalmic branch.Patients were followed up at 1day,7 days,1 month,6 months, and 12months post-injection.VAS,SF-MPQ,sleep interference score and quality of daily life were observed. At each time point, effective rate were calculated. Results: Compared with baseline value of 46 cases, there was a decrease of VAS and SF-MPQ,and improvement of sleep interference score and quality of daily life. The effective rate of l day,7days,1month,6months,12months,24months was 76%,83%,93%,91%,78% and 73%,respectively.Conclusion: Adriamycin interventional therapy for patients with trigeminal neuralgia of ophthalmic branch has the features of steady therapeutic effect and safety.
