Title: Study on Braking Performance of Antilock Braking System
Abstract: The braking performance of antilock braking system(ABS) is closely related to safe driving. The objectives of this study are to enhance the braking performance to an optimum efficiency and to adapt the changing road surface condition. The adaptive control theory is applied in analyzing the working principle of wheel braking and an ABS based on road surface coefficient is designed. The simulated experiments show that the control system could take the advantage of adapting optimum road surface condition to realize operational stability during braking. It proves that it is an optimized braking system and much simpler and more practical than it used to be.
