Title: The preparation and performance analysis of polyaniline-modified platinum particles electrode for fuel cell
Abstract: Pt particles were deposited on a polyaniline-modified Pt electrode by constant potential, cyclic potential mode and double potential step, which was used as a electrocatalytic electrode for methanol oxidation. The results show that there is a synergism for methanol oxidation on the electrode. The electrocatalytic activity of the electrode using different platinum particles deposition ways was different. The electrocatalytic activity of the composite electrode obtained by constant potential mode was the best, and the electrocatalytic activity of the composite electrode obtained by double potential step was the worst.Besides, deposition conditions also have effects on electrocatalytic activity under the same deposition way.The electrodes obtained under the conditions of constant potential-0.25 V,cyclic potential-0.25~0.65 V and double potential step-0.25 V for 100 s show better electrocatalytic activity than other electrodes.
