Title: The changes of patients' blood concentrations of nitric oxide after blood transfusion
Abstract: Objective To understand the blood transfusion on a patient's blood concentrations of nitric oxide, and provide some reference to Clinical transfusion. Methods The blood samples came from anemia patients.Who transfused more than four RBC units blood. In the blood transfusion before and after two hours. The collecting plasma samples were kept at-20℃.The OD value of standard specimen and other samples was testd by the Nitric Oxide detection kit, then was calculated the various specimens of the concentrations of Nitric Oxide. Results The patients'plasma concentrantions of Nitric Oxide increased significantly after blood transfusion.According to statistical analysis,it shows that plasma concentration of Nitric Oxide has significant change before blood transfusion. Conclusion The patients'concentration of Nitric Oxide elevated, perhaps because RBC as a Nitric Oxide storage and transport of the carrier.Acceptors produce an immune response,iNOS in the macrophages express and synthese Nitric Oxide in the immune response. This may be another reason for recipients of blood Nitric Oxide levels rise.Transfusion causeing a higher concentration of Nitric Oxide may increase the immune system suppressed, and has a bad effect on the bleeding patients and the traumatic brain injury patient.
