Title: Comparative Study Between Aripiprazole and Clozapine in the Treatment of Schizophrenia
Abstract: Objective:To study the clinical efficacy and side effect of aripiprazole in the treatment of first-episode schizophrinia.Method: Forty-six schizophrenic patients were randomly divided into aripiprazole group and clozapine group for 8 weeks.PANSS and TESS were used to evaluate the efficacy and side effects respectively.Result:There were no significant difference in the total caraive effects between two groups(P0.05).Aripiorazole had less side effects than clozapine did.Conclusion:Aripiprazole is a safe and effective antipcychotic drug.
