Title: THE CLINICAL EFFECT OF PREEMPTIVE ANALGESIA WITH KETAMINE EPIDURAL INJICTION
Abstract: Objective To observe the effect of preemptive analgesia with Ketamine epidural injection pre-operationg. Methods 80 patients under epidural anesthesia were divided randomly into two groups. Ketamine 30 mg was given epidurally pre-opreation in ketamine group (Group Ⅰ); In the control group (group Ⅱ) normal saline was given instead.VAS scores after operation and the postoperative required analgesic times ad incidences of side-effects were observed. Morphin 2 mg were given epidually five minutes before the end of the operation. Results The VAS scores in group Ⅰ were obviously lower than those in group Ⅱ, and the required analgesic times in group Ⅰ were obviously lower than those in group Ⅱ. Conclusion The effect of epidural ketamine injection pre-operationg can inhance the effect of morphine acting on postoperative analgesia.
