Title: Therapeutic Effects of the Combined Treatment of the Chinese Traditional and Western Medicine for Severe Acute Pancreatitis
Abstract: Objective To study the therapeutic effects of the combined treatment of the Chinese traditional and western medicine for severe acute pancreatitis(SAP).Methods 80 cases of SAP were selected randomly into two groups.In the study group,40 cases were treated by Dachengqi Tang firstly,while in the control group,40 cases were treated by routine western medicine.Results Compared with the control group,the indexes of the study group such as the operation rate,the evacuating time,the ascites abolition time and the hospital stay were better,which were 25.0% vs.62.5%,(2.2±1.2)d vs.(5.5±1.2)d,(5.0± 3.0)d vs.(8.8±2.9)d and(19.8±9.6)d vs.(26.3±13.9)d respectively(P0.05 or P0.01).And the operative complication rates between the two groups had no difference(P0.05).Conclusions It shows the advantages of the therapeutic effects of the combined treatment of the Chinese traditional and western medicine in decreasing the operation rate,and promoting the recovery.And it is recommended for its practicality and convenience.
