Title: INVESTIGATION AND ANALYSIS OF HIV/AIDS OCCUPATIONAL PROTECT KNOWLEDGE,ATTITUDE,BELIEF AND PRACTICE IN NURSES OF COMMUNITY HOSPITALS IN SHENZHEN
Abstract: [Objective]To explore the status of HIV/AIDS knowledge,attitude,belief and practice among nurses,and provide scientific evidence for shenzhen health bureau.[Methods]Questionnaires of HIV/AIDS occupational protection knowledge were distributed to 156 nurses of 29 community hospitals in Shenzhen Guangming new district.[Results]① Only 34.62% of the nurses had trained of HIV/AIDS occupational protection knowledge by local health bureau. ② 68.38% of them knew basic HIV/AIDS post-exposure prophylaxis knowledge;③ Only 60. 90% of them could take right measures of preventing occupational HIV infection after needle stick,and 55.13% of them could handle rightly while patient’s secretions or blood splash into their eyes,nose,or mouths.[Conclusion]Education should be strengthened for nurses of community hospitals about HIV/AIDS occupational protection knowledge so that they may deduce occupational harm in health care.
