Title: Replication of Animal Models of Human Diseases by System Theory
Abstract: According to the basic principles of system theory, animal models of human diseases were designed integrally. In order to replicate successfully, consideration should be taken on comparability of biological characteristics of the animal models, and the repeatability, credibility, applicability, controllability, maneuverability and economy, etc.of animal models. The integration principle should run through the whole model replication process, making the replicated model scientific and functional. The model replication should be carried out in accordance with correlation principle of system theory.A model isn't isolated from systems, organs, and molecules each other. The mankind and animals are closely correlated mutually in biology,anatomy,histology,embryology,physiology,pathology...etc.The disease occurrence and development are related mutually, and the correlation principle makes the animal models useful in research of human diseases.Animal models are developing constantly in time and space.Animal models should be studied dynamically according to the immune function, nutritional condition, pathogenesis and outcome of the animal disease, etc. Optimization principle for animal models include appropriate experimental design and application of high quality animals, reduce the number of used animals, protecting animal welfare, and to comply the ethic principles. Therefore,a model evaluation system is optimized finally.
