Title: Positioning of the improved disposable unilateral bronchial blockers tube with fiberoptic bronchoscope
Abstract: Objective To study the use of fiberoptic bronchoscopy in the positioning of improved disposable unilateral bronchial blockers tube feasibility.Methods50 patients who accepted thoracic surgical procedures with the left bronchial intubation and general anesthesia were randomly divided into 2groups:conventional auscultation group(T group n=25) and fiberoptic bronchoscopy group(F group n = 25).Patients in conventional auscultation group were subjected bronchial intubation using conventional auscultation(if it couldn't went on,followed by precise positioning use fiberoptic bronchoscopy);while patients in fiberoptic bronchoscopy group accepted fiberoptic bronchoscopy guided improved disposable unilateral bronchial blockers tube placement.The case number and duration of precise positioning using fiberoptic bronchoscopy of patients in 2 groups were recorded.The injure of bronchial,Heart rate and mean arterial pressure of patients at different time points were observed.Results T group and T group Precise positioning were performed in 52% and 96%.The mean duration of precise positioning of patients in T group and F group were(93.7±35.8) s and(61.3 ±16.5) s,which showed significant difference between them.The injure of bronchial of patients were 5 and 0(P0.01).No significant difference were found in heart rate and mean arterial pressure of patients in two groups at each time point(P0.05).Conclusion Fiberoptic bronchoscopy-guided improved disposable unilateral bronchial blockers tube placement may improve the success rate of precise positioning of improved disposable unilateral bronchial blockers tube,lower the injure of airway and educe the duration of positioning.
