Title: Analysis of present situation and risk factors on the patients with lung cancer complicated with lower respiratory tract infection
Abstract: Objective To analyze the present situation and risk factors on the patients with lung cancer complicated with lower respiratory tract infection.Methods From November 2009 to October 2011 in our hospital,110 cases of lung cancer were selected,observed whether or not developing lower respiratory tract infection,and analyzed patient's gender,age,smoking history,lung cancer stage,duration of hospitalization,invasive procedures,antibiotic application whether the risk factors for lower respiratory tract infection.ResultsIn this 110 cases of lung cancer,71 cases with lower respiratory tract infection,the incidence rate was 64.5%,the main pathogens were Gram negative bacteria,its occurrence was related with the patient's age,smoking history,lung cancer stage,duration of hospitalization,invasive procedures,antibiotic application(P0.05).Conclusions Lung cancer patient's age,smoking history,lung cancer stage,duration of hospitalization,invasive procedures,antibiotic application are the risk factors of lower respiratory tract infection,clinical workers should take effective preventive measures for intervention risk factors to improve the patient's quality of life.
