Title: Effects of Captopril on acute lung injury induced by acid-inhalation
Abstract: Objective To investigate the effect of Captopril on dilute hydrochloric acid aspiration caused by the impact of acute lung injury. Methods 30 healthy adult rats were randomly divided into three groups: control group, acute lung injury(ALI) group,Captopril(CAP) group. The trachea of all three groups was dissociated to take tracheal built-in tube,ALI group,CAP group were dropped in 0.1 mmol/L hydrochloric acid 0.4 mL/kg through trachea respectively, after 5 min,the rats of CAP group were given intraperitoneal injection of Captopril 5 mg/kg,after 1.5 h,the blood samples were collected to test the content of serum TNF-α and the influence of arterial blood gas,and the lung tissue was collected for pathology research. Results Compared with control group,TNF-α contents of ALI group and CAP group were increased(P 0.05) and PaCO2 was improved(P 0.05),PaO2 was decreased(P 0.05).Compared with the ALI group, the TNF-α level in CAP group was decreased significantly(P 0.05),and PaCO2 decreased significantly(P 0.05),PaO2 was significantly increased(P 0.05).Conclusion Diluted hydrochloric acid dropped in trachea can lead to acute lung injury of rats, and the level of TNF-α can be measured in serum of rats,Captopril can reduce the content of TNF-α during the period of acute lung injury, mitigate the damage of the lung tissue.
