Title: Method of noncoherent clutter suppression suited to wideband radar
Abstract: The coherent processing method, such as MTI or MTD, is commonly used for clutter suppression in conventional narrowband radar. In wideband conditions, a new method of clutter suppression-noncoherent moving target indication (NMTI), can be used. That is namely detecting moving target through instantaneous displacement of radar echo signal. Ground radar clutter simulation is first discussed, and an in-depth simulation study on the NMTI method suited to wideband radar is made. In the corresponding speed condition, signal-to-clutter ratio improvement factor can meet requirements of practical application, and it can simplify design of radar system. This method can be applied to clutter suppression processing in wideband radar in effect.\;
