Title: The application and nursing of dynamic blood glucose monitoring system in patients with type IIdiabetes
Abstract: Objective: To compare dynamic blood glucose monitoring system(Continuous Glucose Monitoring System,CGMS) with traditional glucose testing method, and to summary nursing of CGMS for type Ⅱdiabetes. Methods: 23 patients with type Ⅱ diabetes were monitored with CGMS and peripheral blood testing for three days. Two sets of data were calibrated and compared.Results:5 cases had local minimal hemorrhage,2 cases had red swollen at bandage sites.Blood sugar result input errors occurred 3 times and 1 case had low current alarm twice. The results from CGMS and traditional glucose testing method had positive correlation(r=0.8742,P0.001).Using the CGMS,12 cases of hyperglycemia were tested in the early morning. The postprandial glucose peak value occurred between 1.5~3h postprandial.12 results were out of detection ranges either above the upper limit or below the lower limit.20 cases showed hypoglycemic events before meals or late at night. Conclusion: CGMS demonstrate values on diabetes diagnoses and monitoring during treatment.Howerer,at this stage,it can't completely replace traditional glucose detection method.
