Title: A New Hybrid Multipath Interference Canceller
Abstract: CDMA uplink system suffers from multi access interference(MAI) and multipath interference(MPI).Therefore the conventional RAKE receivers will not be able to achieve sustainable performance.Parallel interference cancellation(PIC) and successive interference cancellation(SIC) are two schemes to suppress the interference. However PIC is sensitive to near-far effect while SIC will incur long bit delays.A new receiver structure named FHIC is proposed, which has advantages such as low complexity, shorter bit delays, high performance, and robustness to near-far effect as well.Simulation results show that the proposed receiver outperforms PIC and SIC significantly.
