Title: The Restoration of Sino-Japanese Diplomatic Relations and the Severance of Japanese-Taiwanese "Diplomatic Relations
Abstract: This paper, from perspective of historical positivism, studies basic process of restoration of Sino-Japanese and severance of Japanese-Taiwanese relations, and points out that the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Taiwan is result of escalation of ideological struggles in early cold war era, serious distortion of Sino-Japanese and Korean hot war. Therefore, as Japanese nation has always been pragmatic, it will not last long. The realization of Sino-Japanese diplomatic is highly due to wisdom and boldness of leaders of both countries. It not only eliminated accumulated rancor between two countries, but more important, realized mutual benefit in terms of national behavior.
