Title: Study on Different Extraction Process of Chlorogenic Acid in Flos Lonicerae and Optimum
Abstract: Objective: To optimize the extraction process of chlorogenic acid in Flos Lonicerae. Methods: Several extraction processes were used respectively, such as traditional decocting method, the refluxing method, the ultrasonic method etc. The optimum extraction was investigated by the orthogonal design and chlorogenic acid determined by HPLC. Results: The optimum extraction is refluxing method. The factors influencing this extraction efficiency were as follows: ACB. (A: Consistency of ethanol, C: Times of reflux. B: Amount of ethanol) The optimum extraction conditions were: 10 fold of 75% ethanol, refluxing 0.5 h. The content or chlorogenic acid and extraction rate were fairly high. Conclusion: This optimized process is simple, stable and efficient.
