Title: The study on the Purpose and Yearly Frequency of Japanese "Envoys to Shui Dynasty" Visiting China
Abstract: According to the analysis of the Chinese and Japanese historic documents, to propagate Buddhism and study Shui Culture was the main purpose of Japanese \!Envoys to Shui Dynasty visiting China. Those envoys visited China respectively in 600, 607, 608, 610 and 614. They played a special historic role in the relationship between China and Japan, for being not only the source from which Japan directly absorbed the extensive Chinese culture but also the prelude of its successors on a large scale to China later.
