Title: Preparation of Supported Catalysts(CuO/TUD-1,CuO/MCM-41)and Their Application in One-step Oxidation of Benzene to Phenol
Abstract: The supported catalysts CuO / TUD-1(Cat1) and Cu O/MCM-41(Cat2) were prepared by the equal volume impregnation method, using mesoporous molecular sieves TUD-1 and MCM-41 as the supports. The structures and the performance were characterized by XRD,SEM,and N2adsorption-desorption isotherms. The one-step oxidation for benzene to phenol were used as the probe to study the catalytic activities of Cat1 and Cat2.The results showed that Cat1 exhibited better catalytic activity.Under the optimized conditions[Cat140mg,benzene 20mmol,n(benzene) ∶ n(H2O2) =1∶2,at 70 ℃ for 6h],the conversion rate of benzene was 54.7%,and the selectivity rate of phenol was 92.8%.The reasons that Cat1 presented better catalysis activity were ascribed to larger BET surface area(273m2·g-1),pore volume(1.132mL·g-1),average pore size(12.6nm) as well as better thermal stability than Cat2.
