Title: Compensation Benefit Analysis of United Operation of Interbasin Mixed Hydropower Stations
Abstract: On the basis of summarizing the relative research and practice at home and abroad, for equitable reflection of the inter-compensation between the Three Gorges cascade stations and the Qingjiang cascade stations, the united operation of the interbasin cascade hydropower stations is studied, and, especially, the electric power and energy compensation benefits of united operation of the two cascades are analyzed. The maximum firm power and annual average amount of electricity generated are set as the objectives of the models. The differentiation coefficient combined with reservoir operation chart and successive approximation dynamic programming are adopted to solve the models. The results show that the firm power and annual average energy are increased by 342.810 MW and 121.62 GW·h respectivedy under united operation of the two cascades. The compensation benefit is considerable.
