Title: Cooperating dispatch of hydropower station groups of Three Gorges cascade and Qingjiang cascade
Abstract: The mathematical models for calculating the power output of separate operation and jointly operation under cooperating dispatch of hydropower station groups in Three Gorges cascade and Qingjiang cascade are established respectively.The maximum guaranteed power and maximum power output are set as the objective of the models.The discrete differential dynamic program method and the large scale system decomposed-coordinating method are adopted to solve the models.The results show that more than 1.826 billion kW·h of energy and 440MW guaranteed power obtained if the station groups in these two cascades are operated under cooperating dispatch.The compensation benefit is considerable.
