Title: Comments and analysis of 3600 outpatient prescriptions
Abstract: Objective To investigate the indicators and rationality of drug use in our hospital so as to provide references for clinical rational drug use. Methods 3600 outpatient prescriptions were randomly selected from our hospital during July to December 2012 and were classified and analyzed. Results The average number of drugs prescribed per prescription was 2.8,the percentage of drugs prescribed in generic name was 99.1%,the percentages of antibacterials,injections and essential drugs prescribed were 26.9%,20.2% and 38.6% respectively. Irrational prescription accounted for 6.83%. Conclusion The outpatient drug use in our hospital was rational on the whole,however,the utilization of essential drugs and antibacterials remains to be improved further.
