Title: Clinical comparative effectiveness studies of aripiprazole and sodium valproate sustained-release tablets in the treatment of bipolar disorder manic episode
Abstract: Objective To investigate the therapeutic efficacy and safety of Aripiprazole and sodium valproate manic episodes in patients with bipolar disorder given. Methods We Collected 92 cases of bipolar disorder manic episodes, they were randomly divided into two groups, the observation group(n = 46) was given aripiprazole, the control group(n = 46) was given sodium valproate sustained-release tablets,CGI-S-BP and YMRS score, efficacy and adverse events after the treatment of two groups were compared.Results(1) With treatment time of patients longer CGI-S-BP and YMRS score were lower, there were significant differences between before and after treatment(P 0.05).The difference of two groups scores in the first two weeks was statistically significant(P 0.05),there were no significant difference in two weeks after the treatment(P 0.05).(2) There were no significant difference in clinical treatment efficiency and recovery rate between observation group and control group(P 0.05).(3) There were no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between observation group and control group(P 0.05).Conclusion Treatment of bipolar disorder, manic episodes in aripiprazole has considerable therapeutic effect of sodium valproate and higher security.
