Title: Study on Decolorization of Acidity Scarlet FG by Immobilized Aspergillus ficcum
Abstract: Aspergillus ficcum was immobilized with sodium alginate, and formed in different states: live and heat inactivated and alginate immobilized cells. This paper explored the effect of decolorization of different states immobilized cell under conditions such as temperature, pH, culture time. The results indicated that immobilized live cell has its best effect of high decolorizing rate over 90% at pH=5.0, 33℃ and 48h. Comparing the effect of decolorization of different states cells, apparently immobilized live cell has advantage over heat inactivated cells. The paper also studied the change of dye concentration with time under different dye concentration. The results showed that decolorization of Acidity Scarlet on Aspergillus ficcum agree with zero-order reaction model. The immobilized live cells could be reused after decolorizing for third times, and decolorization rate could also reach 87.2%.
