Title: Effects of colchicine on hepatic fibrosis in experimental rats
Abstract: Objective To explore the effects of colchicine on experimental hepatic fibrosis and therapeutic effect for rats. Methods On the basis of health statistics completely randomized design principles,81 rats were randomly divided into 4 groups.Pathological observation of rat liver fibrosis changes;and serum were detected TNF-α and IFN-γ concentration. Results Compared with normal control group, model group rats liver fibrosis degree obviously, the difference was statistically significant(P 0.01)compared with the model group, colchicine group can significantly improve the degree of liver fibrosis, the difference was statistically significant(P 0.05).Compared with the normal control group, model group rats serum TNF-α and IFN-γ concentrations are increase(P 0.01).Compared with the model group, colchicine treatment group can significantly reduce liver fibrosis in rats serum TNF-α and IFN-γ concentrations(P 0.05 or P 0.01).Conclusion Colchicine is mainly through reduced hepatic fibrosis in rat serum IFN-γ and TNF-α concentration,to inhibit the hepatic inflammatory response, thus alleviating liver injury in treatment of liver fibrosis, which can be used in clinical medicine and provides a scientific theoretical basis.
