Title: Competitive adsorption with thiophene and benzothiophene on Cu~+-13X
Abstract: Using thiophene, benzothiophene and n-hexane for preparing the simulated gasoline,a series of static adsorption and dynamic adsorption experiments for improving the Cu+-13X molecular sieve selectivity to thiophene was carried out.The results show that if increasing the initial mass fraction of thiophene in the simulated gasoline, the adsorption capacity of thiophene on Cu+-13X can be enhanced, thus improving the competitive adsorption of thiophene. When the initial mass fraction of benzothiophene and thiophene is 500,700 μg/g respectively, the adsorption capacity of thiophene on Cu+-13X can be greater than that of benzothiophene. When the initial mass fraction of benzothiophene and thiophene in the simulated gasoline is 350,800 μg/g respectively, the selectivity of thiophene on Cu+-13X is greater than that of benzothiophene,so thiophene has an advantage in the competitive adsorption.
