Title: Regulating Ren Du acupuncture therapy combined with catgut implantation at acupoint for infertility women with polycystic ovary syndrome
Abstract: Objective To investigate the clinical effect of regulating Ren Du acupuncture therapy combined with catgut implantation at acupoint on infertility women with polycystic ovary syndrome. Methods 60 infertility patients with polycystic ovary syndrome were randomly divided into observation group and control group. Patients in the observation group were given regulating Ren Du acupuncture therapy combined with catgut implantation at acupoint to stimulate ovulation. Patients in the control group were given clomiphene orally to stimulate ovulation. Results The ovulation rates were 54. 16% in the observation group and 62. 68% in the control group. There was insignificant difference in these two groups( P 0. 05). The pregnancy rate was 46. 66% in the observation group,which was slightly higher than that in the control group( 40%). There was insignificant difference in these two groups according to chi-square statistics( P 0. 05). After treatment,FSH、LH、LH / FSH、T in the observation group were decreased obviously than those in the control group,and there was significant difference in those two groups( P 0. 01). The maximum thickness of the endometrium and cervical mucus score in the observation group were better than those in the control group, and there was significant difference in those two groups( P 0. 01). Conclusion Regulating Ren Du acupuncture therapy combined with catgut implantation at acupoint can significantly improve the ovulation rates and pregnancy rates of infertile patients with polycystic ovary syndrome,besides,it can adjust the incretion of infertility patients with ovary syndrome.
