Title: Efficacy of Aspirin in Combination with Compound Danshen Dropping Pills for Asymptomatic Coronary Artery Disease
Abstract: OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the efficacy of aspirin in combination with compound Danshen Dropping pills for asymptomatic coronary artery disease(CAD).METHODS:A total of 108 patients with asymptomatic CAD were randomized to 3 groups:Aspirin(Group A),compound Danshen Dropping Pills(Group B),and Aspirin in combination with compound Danshen Dropping Pills(Group C).After 4-week treatment,the clinical response was compared among the 3 groups.RESULTS:The responsive rate in Group C(89.5%)was significantly higher than in either Group A(69.4%)or Group B(70.6%)(P0.05).The frequency and duration of silent ischemia were significantly reduced as compared before treatment(P0.05).CONCLUSION:Aspirin in combination with compound Danshen Dropping Pills had good efficacy but mild side-effects in patients with asymptomatic CAD.
