Title: Effect of ramipril combined with amlodipine in left ventricular hypertrophy and urinary mALB in essential hypertension(EH)patients
Abstract: Aim To study the effects of ramipril and amlodipine in systolic blood pressure(SBP),diastolic blood pressure(DBP),left ventricular hypertrophy(LVH)and urinary mALB in essential hypertension(EH)Patients. Methods 99 cases of EH patients with LVH and urinary mALB were chosen and randomly divided into three groups-A,B and C,33 cases per group. The patients of A were administered ramipril 5 to 10 mg,once per day,the patients of B amlodipine 5 to 10 mg,once per day;the patients of C ramipril and amlodipine dose same as above.Time of therapy is 24 weeks. Before and after the therapeutic period,we measure SBP,DBP,urinary mALB of EH patients, and at the same time, evaluate LVH index. Results After treatment for 24 weeks,SBP,DBP,urinary mALB and LVH are significantly different(P0.01)index compared with pre-treatment.Group C surpass obviously group A and group B in group comparison(P0.01).Conclusion Ramipril combined with amlodipine can more placidly control EH compard with the single medicine, and they can reverse LVH,depress urinary mALB,protect heart and renal function.
