Title: The value of 64-slice spiral CT perfusion imaging in evaluating the angiogenesis of astrocytoma
Abstract: Objective To investigate the value of 64-slice spiral CT perfusion imaging in evaluating the angiogenesis of astrocytoma. Methods Twenty-six patients confirmed astrocytoma by operation and pathology were examined by 64-slice spiral CT perfusion imaging, and the perfusion parameters were measured.MVD and expressions of VEGF were examined immunohistochemically using SP techniques. Results ①MVD,VEGF and the values of BF,BV,PS of the high-grade astrocytoma were higher than those of low-grade astrocytoma. There were statistically significant differences between the two groups(P0.01 or P0.05).②The BF,BV and PS value of astrocytoma had obviously positive correlation with MVD and VEGF correspondingly(all P0.01).Conclusion CT perfusion imaging can accurately reflect the angiogenesis of astrocytoma in vivo, which will be helpful to optimize the treatment protocol and to predict the patient's prognosis.
