Title: Effect of Valsartan Combined with Nifedipine on Diabetes Combined with Hypertension
Abstract: Objective To investigate the effect of valsartan combined with nifedipine on diabetes combined with hypertension. Methods From December 2010 to December 2013,96 diabetes patients combined with hypertension in our hospital were chosen, and then they were randomly divided into control group and observation group,48 cases in each. Control group given nifedipine only, observation group given valsartan combined with nifedipine, both groups treated for 12 weeks. SBP,DBP,Scr,BUN and UAER before and after treatment between two groups were compared, and curative effect observed. Results The total effective rate of observation group was 95. 8%,was higher than that of control group of 72. 9%( P 0. 05).There was no significant differences of SBP,DBP,Scr,BUN and UAER before treatment between two groups( P 0. 05),while SBP,DBP,Scr and UAER of observation group were lower than those of control group after treatment( P 0. 05). Conclusion Valsartan combined with nifedipine can effectively control the blood pressure and significantly reduce the kidney damage in diabetes patients combined with hypertension.
