Title: Correlation of plasma levels of D-dimer and survival in non-small cell lung cancer patients
Abstract: Objective To investigate the relationship between the plasma levels of D-dimer and the prognosis in patients with non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC).Methods The plasma levels of D-dimer were detected by ELISA method in fifty-five patients with NSCLC and twenty healthy people(control group). Results The plasma levels of D-dimer in patients with MSCLC were significantly higher than those of control group(P0.01),which were not correlated to histological classification, P-TNM stages, but negatively correlated to survival term(r=-0.42,P0.01). Conclusion Elevation of plasma levels of D-dimer exists in patients with non-small cell lung cancer, which is negatively correlated to the survival term. The plasma level of D-dimer may be taken as a marker of prognosis in patients with NSCLC.
