Title: Value of carotid artery ultrasonography and transcranial Doppler in detecting ischemic cerebrovascular disease
Abstract: Objective:To study the clinical value of carotid artery ultrasonography and transcranial Doppler in detecting ischemic cerebrovascular disease. Methods:Patients with ischemic stroke were enrolled as the observation group, healthy persons as control group, and all subjects underwent transcranial Doppler and carotid ultrasound examination. Then TG,TC,LDL,HDL,ApoA-Ⅰ,ApoB were detected. Results:The sensitivity(96.76%),positive predictive value(96.76%) and negative predictive value(100%) of artery ultrasonography combined with TCD were higher than artery ultrasonography or TCD alone. In the combined examination,TG,TC,LDL,ApoB levels were lower, while HDL,ApoA-Ⅰlevels were higher than single use of artery ultrasonography or TCD.Conclusion:Ultrasound combined with carotid transcranial Doppler detection can improve the sensitivity of diagnosis of vascular diseases of the brain, improve blood lipid metabolism level of patients,is worthy of clinical application.
