Title: The curative effects comparison of the two methods in the treatment of chronic renal failure
Abstract: Objective:To investigate the therapeutic effects and changes of kidney function in chronic renal failure(CRF) treated by two methods. Methods: 100 cases with CRF were divided into two groups: western medicine plus Chinese medicine treatment group (observation group )50 cases, and western medicine treatment group (control group) 50 cases, then to compare the recent efficacy and changes of kidney function before and after treatment. Results: The observation group markedly effective in 23 cases(46.0%), effective 19 cases (38.0%), invalid 8 cases(17.6%), the total effective rate was 84.0%; control group markedly effective in 16 cases (32.0%), effective 18 cases(36.0%), and invalid in 16 cases(32.0%), the total effective rate was 68.0%, the therapeutic effect of observation group was better than the control group(P0.01); kidney function of observation group improved more significantly than the control group (P0.01). Conclusion: The curative effect and changes of kidney function in observation group are obviously better than the control group.
