Title: Synthesis and application of waterborne polyurethane binder in pigment printing
Abstract: Waterborne polyurethane was synthesized using isophorone diisocyanate,polyethylene glycol 1 000,2,2-dihydroxyl methyl propaniocacid,triethylamine and diethylenetriamine as raw materials,which has good elec-trolyte resistant,acid-resistant and alkali resistant properties.As a binder in pigment printing,its application was investigated taking crocking fastness,soaping fastness and handle as indexes.The results showed that the prod-uct had soft handle and high color yield,which was obtained with the follow conditions: 40 g/L of binder,8 g/L of printing paste,10 g/L of thickener KS-D760,10 g/L of cross linking agent(N-hydroxymethyl acrylamide),cured at 150 ℃ for 3 min.The dry/wet crocking fastness of printed product were level 4,staining color fastness was level 4 or 4~5,which met the demands of national standard for pigment printing product(level 2~3 of drying crock-ing fastness,level 2 of wet crocking fastness) and other national standard for dyes printing product(level 3 of dry-ing crocking fastness,level 2~3 of wet crocking fastness.The effect of pigment printing product was similar to the dyed cloth.
