Title: Overexpression of human cervical cancer oncogene in colon carcinoma tissues and its clinical significance
Abstract: OBJECTIVE:To explore the expression of human cervical cancer oncogene-1(HCCR-1)in colon carcinoma tissues and its clinical significance tissues.METHODS:Using RT-PCR,immunohistochemistry and Western blotting to analysis HCCR-1 gene protein in 152 cases of human colon cancer tissues,43 cases of para-cancerous tissues and 37 cases of normal tissues. At the same time, using immunohistochemistry to analysis CEA in human colon cancer tissues.RESULTS:The relative expression levels of HCCR-1 mRNA in the cancerous tissues were higher than those in the para-cancerous tissues(P0.05),the relative expression levels of HCCR-1 mRNA in the para-cancerous tissues were higher than those in the normal tissues(P0.05);The positive rate of HCCR-1 in colon carcinoma tissues was 80.9%,higher than that in para-cancerous tissues(P0.05);There was almost no HCCR-1 expression in the normal tissues, weak expression in the para-cancerous tissues and strong expression in colon carcinoma tissues;the positive rate of HCCR-1 in stages B~C of colon carcinoma(Duke)was 87.3%,higher than that in stage A(63.6%,P0.05).CONCLUSION:HCCR-1 is over-expressed in colon carcinoma tissues, indicating the HCCR-1-1 gene maybe participate in genesis and development of colon cancer, and suggesting the HCCR-1-1 gene has some correlation with the pathological progress of colon cancer progress.
