Title: ORIGIN STUDY OF THE NON HYDROCARBON GASES OF THE HUAGOU GAS FIELD IN THE SHENGLI PETROLEUM AREA
Abstract: Huagou gas field in the Shengli petroleum area has abundant CO 2 with the concentration more than 70%, and one well has rich N 2 and He. But there are hydrocarbon containing reservoirs in its eastern and northern parts. It is obvious that its origin is closely related to the source sag of its east neighbor, boxing and intense volcanism in the west. The isotopic researches of CO 2 and rare gases show that δ ( 13 C CO2 ) ranges from -8.30‰ to -3.41‰,with He concentration more than 1% and φ ( 3He)/ φ ( 4He) varying from 4.45×10 -6 to 4.49×10 -6 ,indicating the mantle derived magma origin. The favorable tectonic environment for the formation of CO 2 reservoir is mantle uplift and great fault magma activity zone. While the CO 2 reservoir in the Huagou gas field contains the zone of basalt of the Neocene. Each intrusion and eruption of magma is a period of non hydrocarbon gases formation and possible accumulation. Neocene is the most important period of non hydrocarbon gases formation in the Huagou gas field.
