Title: STUDY ON GEOCHEMICAL CHARACTERS AND ORIGIN OF DEEP NATURAL GAS IN VOLCANIC ROCK RESERVOIR,SONGNAN GAS FIELD OF SOUTHERN SOLIAO BASIN
Abstract: Analysis of natural gas compositions, carbon isotopes and isotopic characteristics of inert gas in the volcanic reservoirs of Yingcheng and Denglouku Formation in the Yingcheng fault depression reveals that the hydrocarbons in the natural gas are mainly composed of methane, containing a very small amount of heavy hydrocarbons with a drying coefficient about 0.99(dry gas). The natural gas belongs to high CO2-containing gas pool with a content ranging from 20.74% to 25.75%.The facts that methane isotope is slightly heavy(-18.3‰ ~-26.5‰) and the carbon isotope sequence is negative(δ13C1 δ13C2 δ13C3) indicates that the gas is characteristics of inorganic origin.Analysis of characteristics of CO2 isotopes and high 3He/4He ratio in the Yingcheng formation demonstrate that the gas is inorganic in origin with a mixing of 3He/4He from crust.Varieties of geochemical parameters show that there are mantle-derived methane and coal-type gas in the Songnan gas field. The simulation calculation reveals that the hydrocarbons of the deep mantle source gases in the Songnan account for 40.62%~100%,and the coal-layer source gases makes up 0~59.38%.Therefore,the natural gas in the area is mainly mantle-derived in origin.
