Title: A Study on Job Satisfaction of University Educational Administrative Staff:A Survey Based on 11 Universities in Zhejiang
Abstract: With 577 educational administrative staff from 11 universities in Zhejiang surveyed,this study investigated the general situation of job satisfaction of university educational administrative staff and the factors influencing their job satisfaction by using the self-made questionnaire A Survey of Job Satisfaction of University Educational Administrative Staff.The results show that:(1) 8 factors mainly affect their job satisfaction,i.e.,income and welfare,working relationships,organizational atmosphere,personal development,working hours,job achievement,working conditions,and job stress;(2) the overall job satisfaction of university educational administrative staff is at upper middle level,mainly influenced by income and welfare,working relationships,and personal development;(3) there exist significant differences among 8 factors and overall job satisfaction in variables like gender,age,income,educational background,professional title,personnel posts,and types of school.
