Title: Clinical observation on 90 cases of integration of Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine on eradication of Hp
Abstract: Objective:To observe the clinical effect of integration of Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine (TCWM) on eradication of Hp infection.Methods:By gastroscopy and histology test,a total of 280 patients of Hp positive peptic ul cer were randomized into 3 groups.The TCWM group (90 cases) was treated by one dose of San Huang Mie You Tang per day and Omeprazole 20 mg twice a day for 4 weeks.The TWM group (90 cases) was treated by Clarithromycine 0.25 g,Metronidazole 0.4 g and Omerazole 20 mg twice a day for 4 weeks.The TCM group (100 cases) was treated by one dose of San Huang Mie You Tang per day for 4 weeks.14C-UBT was detected 4 weeks after the treatment was over.Results:In the TCWM,TWM and TCM group,the Hp eradication rates were 92.22%,74.44% and 71.00% respectively,the healing rates of peptic ulcer were 91.11%,73.33% and 72.00% respectively.The TCWM group vs the TWM group or vs the TCM group,there was a significant difference (P0.01).The adverse reactions were mild,no severe liver or kidney adverse reactions were found.Conclusion:Integration of TCWM has good effect on eradication of Hp infection,it shows good compliance with few side effects so that it can be the choice of second-line treatment.
