Title: A clinictrol control study of combined fluoxetine and amitriptylin in the treatment of refractory depression
Abstract: Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy and side effects of fluoxetine combined with amitriptylin for treating refractory depression.Methods:Forty-two Patients with refractory depression were randomly assigned to study group(fluoxetine combined with amitriptylin,n=22) and control group(single fluoxetine,n=20) for 6 weeks,Effects and side reactions were evaluated with Hamilton depression scale(HAMA),Clinical global impression(CGI) and the treatment emergert symptoms scale(TESS) before and after the treatment.Results: HAMD and CGI scores of the study group were significantly lower than those of the control group at the end of the 1.2.4and 6 weeks treatment.The significant improvement rate was remarkably higher in the study group(70.8%) than in the control group(40%).Nosignificant difference of TESS scores was found between two groups.Conclusions: fluxetine combined with amitriptylin to treat refractory depression has better officacy and fewer adverse events.
