Title: The Preparation of Mercaptan-Mercury(II) Chemically Modified Carbon Paste Electrode and the Study of Its Cyclic Voltammetry Behavior
Abstract: A kind of insoluble complex,Hg_3L_2Cl_2,which was confirmed by element analysis and IR,was synthesized using 3,6-dioxa-1,8-octanedithiol(H_2L) and HgCl_2.The chemically modified carbon paste electrode with Hg_3L_2Cl_2 was prepared and its cyclic voltammetry behavior was studied in aqueous 1 mol/L KCl supporting electrolyte.There were two reduction peaks and three oxidation peaks in the potential range of 0.3 V to-0.8 V(vs.SCE).The reduction peak of Hg_3L_2Cl_2 is at-0.688 V(vs.SCE),with the oxidation peak is at-0.650 V(vs.SCE).
