Title: Clinical observation of 276 cases of levofloxacin in the treatment of pelvic inflammatory disease
Abstract: Objective To observe the curative effect of treating pelvic inflammation in patients with application of levofloxacin, and provide scientific, reasonable experiences for the clinical treatment scheme. Methods 276 cases of pelvic inflammatory disease methods in our hospital from September 2010 to March 2012, using the method of random digits table group, were divided into study group and control group, each group of 138 cases. The study group received levofloxacin combined with metronidazole oral medication, while the control group was given cefadroxil combined with metronidazole oral medication. Two groups were observed in patients with clinical symptoms disappeared time and use the total efficiency, and make a contrast. Results Clinical symptoms disappeared time was(3.6±1.7) d, the control group the symptoms disappear time(4.4 ± 1.8) d, there was significant difference between the two groups(P0.05). Study group 125 cases were cured, 5 cases ineffective, the total effective rate was 96.4%, control group 87 cases were cured, 41 cases ineffective, the total efficiency was 70.3%, there was significant difference between the two groups(P0.05). Conclusion For patients with pelvic inflammatory disease, given levofloxacin therapy compared with cefadroxil can shorten the time of symptoms disappearing to improve the clinical effect and achieve satisfactory results.
