Title: Analysis and Simulating of PN Code Ranging Error caused by Impedance Mismatching
Abstract: In high precision Pseudo-Noise code ranging systems, impedance mismatching in signal transmission equipment may caused additive ranging errors. For the purpose of quantificational analyzing the impedance mismatching ranging error, firstly, the model of DS/SS signal distortion in the circumstance of impedance mismatching is studied. Based on the model, the expression of impedance mismatching ranging error is deducted and the computer simulation result is proposed. The research result shows that the impedance mismatching ranging error is seriously big and can reach several ns in some circumstances. Good impedance matching and increased PN code rate can remarkably mitigate the ranging error caused by impedance mismatching. The research result provides important suggestion for the implement of PN code ranging systems.
