Title: The Diagnostic Value of MSCTA in the Superior Mesenteric Artery
Abstract: Objective To investigate the value of multi-slice spiral CT angiography(MSCTA) in diagnosis of superior mesenteric artery(SMA) diseases. Methods Retrospective analysis of 27 cases of MSCTA MSA disease, and their imaging characteristics, including plain and contrast enhanced CT scan, after treatment with multi-planar reconstruction(MPR), maximum intensity projection(MIP) and volume Rendering(VR). Results MSCTA clearly showed the SMA trunk and its branches, including 7 cases of SMA thrombosis, 3 cases of SMA layer, SMA atherosclerosis in 17 cases. Conclusion MSCTA in diagnosis of superior mesenteric artery lesion with high accuracy, fast, convenient, non-invasive characteristics. There is wildly practically clinical value.
