Title: The Exhibition of Sound Beauty in the Translation of Ancient Chinese Poems
Abstract: The beauty of sound can be interpreted in broad sense and narrow sense.The narrow sense,which got much attention among scholars,means lyrical beauty reached through musical tones,feet and so on.The broad sense,which is neglected by most scholars,means the internal beauty of its cultural meaning.In ancient Chinese poetry,different sounds of birds means differently in different situations.Taking bird sound as examples,this paper explores how to exhibit the beauty of sound in the perspective of its cultural meaning.
