Title: Studies on the interaction between 2,4-dinitrophenol and myoglobin
Abstract: The interactions of 2,4-dinitrophenol with myoglobin were investigated by fluorescence spectum techniques.2,4-dinitrophenol effectively quenched the intrinsic fluorescence of myoglobin via static quenching.The binding process of 2,4-dinitrophenol to myoglobin was a spontaneous molecular interaction procedure.The binding constants and thermodynamic parameters at two different temperatures,the binding site,and the binding force were obtained.The hydrophobic interaction played a major role in stabilizing the 2,4-dinitrophenol-myoglobin complex.The conformation of myoglobin was discussed by synchronous and three-dimensional fluorescence techniques.
