Title: CLINICAL ANALYSIS OF SMALL DOSE OF MIFEPRISTONE IN THE TREATMENT OF ADENOMYOSIS
Abstract: [Objective]To investigate the treatment of low-dose mifepristone adenomyosis uterus efficacy and safety.[Methods]The clinical data of 48 cases with adenomyosis were confirmed. All of them accepted menstrual cramps before the first l-3 day mifepristone,10mg/d,taking 6 consecutive months. The symptom was improved, and we observed the changes in uterine volume and blood changes in CA125 and recurrence after drug withdrawal. The results were amenorrhea during treatment. No obvious side effects were observed.Follow-up 1 year after treatment, significant improvement in menstrual abnormalities;level after treatment of dysmenorrhea was significantly lower than that before treatment; The average uterine volume before treatment was 10.5 m × 9.6 m × 5.3 m,and the average uterine volume after treatment was 8.2 m × 5.2 m × 4.5 m,and there was statistically significant in the two groups(P﹤0.05).43 patients were cured and 5 cases of patients older than 45 years caused by menopause. Before treatment, serum CA125(56.63 ± 16.53μ/ml)compared with the CA125 blood after treatment was significantly lower(31.43 ± 12.65μ/ml),a significant difference was found between the two groups(P﹤0.05).[Conclusion]Low dose mifepristone can inhibit the blood levels of CA125,the treatment effect is significant adenomyosis, safety and side effects.
