Title: Galactographic Diagnosis in Patients with Nipple Discharge
Abstract: Objective:To improve the radiologic diagnostic rate of mammary ductal diseases. Methods:Mammographic files of 83 patients with nipple discharge were analyzed retrospectively. All cases were proved by clinical, molybdenum target radiogram, galactography and pathology. Results:Tumorous diseases, including intraductal papilloma, intraductal papillary carcinoma and ductal carcinoma, accounted for 63.86%.In this group, intraductal papilloma was the most common(46.99%). Non-tumorous diseases, including mammary ductal ectasia, mammary ductal ectasia with chronic mastitis, mammary cyst, lobular hyperplasia, accounted for 36.14%. In this group, mammary ductal ectasia was the most common(18.07%).Conclusion:Mastering of mammary ductal anatomic form and X-ray character of lesion is very valuable for correct diagnosis of mammary ductal diseases.
